The Fatwa & Shari'a Supervisory Board of Orient Investment Company consists of highly respected and experienced scholars in Islamic finance, investment and economic jurisprudence transaction fields. The board whose decisions are binding is assigned by Orient General Assembly.

The Board undertakes the responsibility to supervise the company's operations and activities to insure compliance with Islamic principles and provisions and issue related and appropriate fatwa (resolutions). In addition, the Board undertakes, amongst a number of other duties, the responsibility of educating Orient’s staff shareholders & clients on Islamic investment issues and developments.
